Dungeon of Four Dimensions

You were deep in a cave system, looking for orc raiders, when you came upon a shaft. The shaft, going far below your torches’ light, looked suspiciously like an air chute of a mine below. As far as you know there is no dwarf presence in the region, but it could still be an abandoned mine. “We can’t let orcs obtain high quality dwarven weapons!” you told each other, and thought “and if there are any gems and gold laying around, well, that wouldn’t be the worst thing either!” to yourself.

So you grabbed your pitons and hammer, tied 100 feet of rope securely, and started descending deeper down the shaft.
